The Caroline Junior Woman’s Club of GFWC, Inc. (CJWC) is a civic and social organization of women at least 18 years of age who work together in many ways to support the Caroline County Community. The Caroline Juniors provide college scholarships to graduating high school seniors based on their participation in community service, including the recently named Joyce Goforth Scholarship. Joyce is a honorary CJWC member and was an educator in Caroline County for over 40 years. CJWC also gives both time and money to many charitable organizations, including Easter Seals Virginia, Heifer International, and HOBY, as well as participating in a variety of other worthy causes and programs within the community throughout the year. CJWC is a member of the Lee District of the Virginia Federation of Women’s Clubs of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the oldest and largest volunteer organization of women in the world. The Caroline Juniors currently have over 20 active members and welcome new members at any time. The Caroline Junior Women’s Club membership is comprised of and is open to women from all facts of life as shown in our logo “Unity with Diversity.” Attendance at two meetings or club functions is required prior to extending the membership benefits of the club. Dues are $27.50 paid annually. The Caroline Juniors are members of the Lee District of GFWC Virginia and are members of the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC).
